Home Information Packs (HIPs)

A Home Information Pack (HIP) is now compulsory for most homes put on the market in England and Wales. The property cannot be marketed unless a HIP has been prepared and is available for prospective buyers.

A HIP is a set of documents which provides the buyer with key information about the property. This includes an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which gives buyers information on the energy efficiency of the property, along with searches and information about the title to the property.

HIPs have been introduced with a view to simplifying and speeding up conveyancing transactions, and so that prospective buyers have information about a property readily available to them without having to go to any expense.

We would be happy to prepare your HIP for you at our standard rate for properties in Ceredigion although please note that prices may vary outside of Ceredigion. Once we have prepared the HIP we will provide you with a hard copy and send an electronic copy to your agents.
