The firm’s newest partner, Nia, was born and bred in Aberystwyth and attended Penglais Comprehensive School. She then gained an Ll.B in Law and French from Cardiff University. As part of her degree, she spent one year at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens, France, studying French law and language. She then returned to Cardiff to study for the Legal Practice Course. Nia completed her training contract with Morris & Bates and became a partner upon qualification in September 2008.
Nia specialises mainly in residential and commercial conveyancing and also assists many local developers in setting up residential estates. She also deals with company and commercial transactions.
Nia oversees the firm’s training and development, to ensure that our solicitors are fully up to date with ever changing areas of law. Nia is a keen musician, having previously sung with the National Youth Choir of Wales, being fortunate enough to sing in some of the most famous buildings in Europe. She also enjoys travelling and learning new languages.
Nia is a fluent Welsh speaker.
